Utilities Service Center
The City of Fort Collins Utilities Service Center (USC) remodel was a major renovation of a 65,000 SF occupied facility. The project consisted of modifying existing building layout and making major building envelope and energy efficiency improvements; including replacement of the building HVAC system with a lake source geo-exchange system.
Project objectives included remodeling to create improved facilities for Light and Power crews, optimize and integrate space in the entire building for improved staff performance, reduce energy and water use, improve site sustainability practices, and enhance indoor environmental quality.
